Is Your Space Working Against You?

Your commercial space is doing a job whether you've updated it or not. A dated office, a cramped layout, or a raw tenant space shapes how customers see your business and how well your team can actually work.

The hard part of commercial construction is rarely the build itself. It's getting it done on schedule and on budget without grinding your operations to a halt. Lermaxx Builders brings the same documented process and clear communication to commercial work that we bring to every home, with realistic schedules built around keeping your doors open.

We handle everything from tenant improvements to full office renovations, managing the framing, systems, and finishes as one accountable team.

We Build Around Your Business

For a commercial project, time really is money. Every day your space is under construction is a day it isn't fully earning, so we plan the work to protect your operations.

  • Phased scheduling lets you keep operating in one area while we work in another.

  • After-hours and weekend work keeps disruption off your busiest times when the project allows.

  • Clear, written timelines and milestones mean no open-ended construction dragging on your business.

  • Clean, safe, well-managed sites keep your space presentable for customers and staff throughout.

Frequently asked Questions About Commercial Renovations

What types of commercial projects do you take on?expand_more

We handle office renovations, retail build-outs, tenant improvements, ADA upgrades, and full space reconfigurations, along with the framing, drywall, ceilings, flooring, and lighting that go with them. Projects range from a straightforward refresh to a complete build-out. If you're not sure your project fits, reach out, and we'll tell you honestly.

How much does a commercial renovation cost?expand_more

Commercial projects generally fall into three ranges: a refresh with paint, flooring, and lighting runs about $30,000 to $75,000, a mid-range renovation with framing and ADA upgrades lands around $75,000 to $175,000, and full build-outs or complex construction start at $175,000 and go up from there. Scope, finishes, and code requirements all move the number. Our Cost Guide breaks the tiers down further.

Can you work around our business hours to minimize downtime?expand_more

Yes, and we plan for it from the start. Depending on the project, we schedule work in phases, after hours, or on weekends to keep your operations running and your downtime to a minimum. We'll build the schedule around your business, then put it in writing so you know exactly what to expect.

Do you handle permits and ADA compliance?expand_more

We do. As a licensed general contractor, we coordinate permitting, inspections, and ADA compliance as part of the project, so your space meets code and passes inspection. You get one team accountable for the whole thing, not a stack of separate vendors to manage.

Our Process

1 | Plan

We start with a conversation about your goals, budget, and timeline, then visit your property to see the space firsthand. From there, you get a detailed written scope and honest estimate, so you know exactly what you're getting before any work begins.

2 | Prepare

Once you approve the scope, we handle the groundwork that keeps construction on track. We finalize the contract, coordinate any design, engineering, and permits your project needs, and line up schedules, subcontractors, and materials before we build.

3 | Build

Our crew builds to the approved scope with quality materials, a clean jobsite, and daily communication. We finish with a walkthrough, punch list, and full documentation, and hand you a completed space that's ready to enjoy.
